Dancho Kalchev (born 1957 in Skopje) is a Macedonian painter who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje, studying in the class of Dimitar Kondovski.
An active member of DLUM since 1984, Kalchev has established himself as an artist with a diverse and fluid expression. His style traverses various movements, including Abstract Expressionism, Surrealism, and Hyperrealism. He works primarily in oil and combined technique, with his oeuvre featuring still life, landscapes, and figuration. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally, including shows in Münster, Germany.
