Boro Arsovski

Boro Arsovski is a Macedonian painter and sculptor, born in 1952 in the village of Stracin. He embarked on his artistic journey early, becoming a naïve artist in 1969. The defining characteristic of his work is a profound connection to Macedonian tradition; his compositions serve as a vibrant treasury of Macedonian folklore and ethnographic elements, rendered in bold, lively colors.

Since his first exhibition in 1971, Boro Arsovski has participated in over 200 group shows and expanded his creative output to include sculptures in stone and terracotta. His contribution to naïve art is internationally recognized, demonstrated by his participation in numerous international art colonies. Today, Arsovski resides and works in Kumanovo, where he continues to create as an independent artist and manages his own “Art Gallery Arsovski,” preserving and promoting Macedonian artistic heritage.
