About The Artist
Maja Stefanovska (born 1972 in Skopje) is a contemporary Macedonian artist.
She graduated from the School of Applied Arts “2nd of August” (1990) and the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje (1996). Stefanovska is active in the contemporary art scene, focusing on various group projects, including international video art exhibitions (“Projected Visions – video art on the Balkans”) and the Biennale of Young Artists in Skopje. She has exhibited internationally in cities such as Brussels, Bucharest, Strasbourg, and Thessaloniki.
